The meeting between the planets Jupiter and Venus (conjunction) occurred tomorrow, Monday (13/11). This natural phenomenon can be witnessed with the naked eye in the morning.
Facebook reminded, the two planets
meet and will decorate the eastern sky with bright light. The scenery can be
enjoyed about an hour before sunrise.
Both planets, which are about 669
kilometers from the center of the solar system will rise 0.3 degrees between
one another.
This moment becomes something rare
for lovers of the world of astronomy. Observers said the rare event could be
seen in a number of countries located at latitudes, such as Britain and the
United States.
In Britain, Venus is expected to
start at around 5:56 am local time. Meanwhile, Jupiter will appear shortly
thereafter, at about 5:58 pm.
In Los Angeles, the US, Jupiter
and Venus are scheduled to appear at 5:18 am local time. While in New York, the
two planets can be seen on the city's skyline at around 06:24 local time.
As reported by space.com , four satellites of Jupiter is
also rumored to be monitored by telescopes. Observers say this rare event will
be very well seen in rural areas far from light pollution.
Meanwhile, not all regions in the
southern part of the earth can enjoy this phenomenon. Argentine citizens,
especially the city of Buenos Aires became one of the lucky because it can
witness the events of astronomy.
Jupiter and Venus are rumored to
appear on the city's horizon around 05.08 am local time.
