Getting to Blogger's History, Creating Service Founder Founder Twitter


Blogger or known as blogspot is an online publishing service developed by Pyra Labs. Blogger has a domain with the .blogspot.com tool.

The service was launched on August 23, 1999 by Pyra Labs founded by Evan Williams, co-founder of Twitter. Blogger initially free services to users. But due to the financial crisis he faced, he was forced to ask for donations.

Luckily, Blogger gets support from Trellix and Evan manages to restore the company's financial condition. By the time the company's health was back to normal, Pyra Labs was sold to Google in 2003.


From there Blogger get success until widely used by netizens around the world. But, Evan William does not seem to want to linger under the control of Google. In 2004 he officially left the technology giant company.

After Google purchased, Blogger reshuffled the design in 2006. All blogs linked to Google accounts were transferred to the parent company's servers.

But one of Google's efforts to attract enough Blogger users is the existence of Google AdSense. Google was then led by Erick Schmidt, presenting AdSense a month after the acquisition of Pyra Labs.

To support the service, Google also acquired Applied Semantics company that supports AdSense.

Initially AdSense only supports English and several languages ​​countries in Europe, Middle East and East Asia, as well as one Southeast Asian country namely the Thai language.

But finally on February 1, 2012 Google officially announced that Indonesian is now supported to display AdSense for Content ad units.


With the Blog owner's AdSense service in the blogspot and other domains, can get the coffers of money through the ads that appear. No wonder if being a blogger can also have quite tempting income.
