Blogger or known as blogspot is an online publishing service developed by
Pyra Labs. Blogger has a domain with the .blogspot.com tool.
The service was launched on August 23, 1999 by Pyra Labs founded by Evan
Williams, co-founder of Twitter. Blogger initially free services to users. But
due to the financial crisis he faced, he was forced to ask for donations.
Luckily, Blogger gets support from Trellix and Evan manages to restore
the company's financial condition. By the time the company's health was back to
normal, Pyra Labs was sold to Google in 2003.
From there Blogger get success until widely used by netizens around the
world. But, Evan William does not seem to want to linger under the control of
Google. In 2004 he officially left the technology giant company.
After Google purchased, Blogger reshuffled the design in 2006. All blogs
linked to Google accounts were transferred to the parent company's servers.

After that, Blogger introduces a variety of new features like labels,
template interfaces, new web feeds, read permissions, and more.
But one of Google's efforts to attract enough Blogger users is the
existence of Google AdSense. Google was then led by Erick Schmidt, presenting
AdSense a month after the acquisition of Pyra Labs.
To support the service, Google also acquired Applied Semantics company
that supports AdSense.
Initially AdSense only supports English and several languages countries
in Europe, Middle East and East Asia, as well as one Southeast Asian country
namely the Thai language.
But finally on February 1, 2012 Google officially announced that
Indonesian is now supported to display AdSense for Content ad units.
With the Blog owner's AdSense service in the blogspot and other domains,
can get the coffers of money through the ads that appear. No wonder if being a
blogger can also have quite tempting income.
